Creating your homepage

Your homepage is created like any other page .

You can edit the sample home page that we have set up for you, or you can create a new page.  The title of the homepage is most often “home”,  but it can be anything you like.  

Create the content like you would for a normal page using the the Divi Builder and Theme Modules. 

When you have finished creating your page, Save the page. Now head over to your dashboard and go to Settings > Reading.

At the top, there is the “Front Page Displays” settings. WordPress calls the Homepage your “Frontpage”.

There is the choice between displaying your latest posts on your Frontpage (then your homepage would show your blog posts), or a “static page”.  Choose static page.

In the Front page drop down, choose the page that you want to be your homepage. In this case “Home”.

Now save your settings, and you are done :)
