The Blog Roll Module can be used to create your blog page, the page where your blog posts are presented in chronological order.
To insert it into your page add it as a module into a column from the module library.
The module has two layout options; full width or grid, that you can set on the General Tab. Scroll further down below to see the Grid layout.
There are various other settings on the General Tab, such as how many posts to show, which categories to show, whether or not to show the title, number of comments etc.
Tip: When you are using the blog roll as full width, you could make it less wide and the text easier readable by restricting the row width (set a custom width of 55% for example).
The Blog roll module can also be used to create a latest post item, for example on your homepage, or anywhere else in your website. You can do that by inserting it in 1/3rd column and then to specify that the number of posts should be only 1.
You can also use the blog roll module to show certain types of blog posts on separate pages. For example, if you run a magazine style website, you could have a page “travel”, and on this page you only want to show your travel related posts. When you create a travel related blog post, you can give it the category travel. On the Travel page, you can insert a blog roll module, and in the module you can specify to only show posts with the category travel in the module.
