About Setting up a Shop
In this class we’ll show you how you can use the shop modules to show the products of a Woocommerce shop. We will discuss the shop module that is available to display your shop content, and we also have a set of videos that show you how to create products, work with tags, set up your shipping, etc. We also point you to further useful resources such as Woocommerce’s documentation where setting up & configuring your shop is also explained in great detail.

1. The Woocommerce Plugin
The Divi theme has been designed to be compatible with the most popular and robust E-commerce plugin for WordPress, Woocommerce. This is a very good and free plugin. To install it, navigate to Plugins > add new in your dashboard:
In the WordPress Plugin directory, type Woocommerce in the search box, and click install:
Once installed, the plugin add a number of menu items to your dashboard, Woocommerce and Products:

2. The Shop Module
Divi also has a Shop module, and the Shop module displays the products that you have added to your Woocommerce shop, through the module. What is very useful about the Shop Module is that you can use filters, for example by setting what kind of product category you would like to show in the module. You can place several Shop Modules underneath each other, for example by setting each to display a different category, for example T-shirts, followed by a Shop module set to only display Dresses, and another one only showing Shoes. You can also create different pages for your shop for different categories of goods you have, by inserting a module on the page and setting it to only display the category Shoes for example (this would then be your Shoes page).
