Here we discuss the “Dawn video” module.

Further down we also discuss the “Dawn Video slider”,  a way to display a number of videos.

The “Dawn Video” module can be added as a module to row columns.

 Place your video URL in the “Video MP4/URL” field on the General Tab of the module.  You can place a link to a (youtube) video, or you can upload the video to your media library through upload. However,  It is generally not a good idea to upload videos to your site, because its creates very heavy data traffic for your website – you may need a more expensive hosting package soon then.  You can also upload an image overlay for the video with the “Image Overlay URL” field button, or you can generate one from the video itself using the “generate from video” button below the field.

 On the Design Tab of the module you can set the play icon colour.

The “Dawn video slider” module can be added to your row columns.

It displays a number of videos in a slider.

For the preview below we have created a single column row layout, added the module, and restricted the row width to 50% to create a more compact centered slider.

There are settings for each video, such as image overlay colour and transparancy. There are also a few settings for the module as a whole.
